What a lovely place to spend the day! A really nice park with stunning scenery and plenty to do with the kids. There are some lovely gardens to enjoy & a crazy golf course as well as a climbing site. I Was very impressed with the courtyard food court which had a good sized seating area and lots of options of food choice at a reasonable price. I also very much enjoyed my pint of San Miguel later in the day as the kids had an ice-cream, possibly the first time I've ever had a pint in a park in the UK but it won't be the last.

Great place for walks and a bite to eat. Alot of nature and miles to walk with or without your dog. The forests are kept in perfect condition. Many very nice views to just look at for hours must be visited to be truly appreciated plan to have many more happy walks here.

Great facilities with cheap car parking. Our 4 yr. old grandson loved it. The adventure playground was well equipped and very safe. We also had a go at crazy golf, only £1 each for 18 holes. Very good day out.

We always love coming here, just a few gripes from me, the only toilets are in the courtyard area which is miles away if you have toddlers new to being out of a nappy. We went to ride the train, half term so expected it to be running, apparently it only runs at weekends, so had 2 disappointed 3 year old. Other than that we love the food on offer, the drinks, and always plenty of space to park

Lots to do for the family! 2 lots of golf , play area, high ropes, crafts and a butchers!!!
There are places to eat and drink and a couple that allow well behaved dogs.
The parking is reasonable and I think it was £1.50 for a few hours.
The cafes in the square close at 4 . I liked all you kneed very friendly and nice cakes.
It's a huge place so if you just fancy a nice walk it's also good for that!

Went there for golf and at £35 for 2 we thought it was great value. A bit hilly towards the end but a lovely course. Could do with some work on the greens to speed them up

Good sized park. Gets very busy at weekends and holidays. We visit during the week when it's a bit quieter. Nice area/woods for a walk and picnic, duck pond (needs a general clean up), ride-on trains (not seen these active for a number of years), good sized play ground for children, a number of other paid activities available should you like crazy golf, high ropes, etc.
The walled gardens are nice for picnics and ball games (being respectful of others seated nearby and keeping fingers crossed dogs are controlled and called off when bounding up to young children). Kitchen gardens are pleasant to walk through when open.
Parking is paid on exit. Toilets located need the food court; there are usually clean however, the soap dispenser in the ladies was broken on our previous visit. A number of options for coffee, cakes, ice cream and lunch. We have eaten at the cafe supplied by All You Knead. Nice variety of cakes, pies and drinks. Reasonably priced. The cakes were very big and staff were happy to provide additional cakes so children could share the brownie. Ice cream shop has lots of variety.
Lots of dogs and, as with most public parks, there is the constant need to check grass when walking through so you don't tread in dog mess which hasn't been cleared away. Not sure when dogs became more important than people however, this is generally not a dog problem, this is an entitled, lazy dog owner problem.

Lovely spot for a walk and some head space this time of year. Unfortunately a lot of untrained dogs off lead which isn't great when owners can't recall or don't know where their dogs are half the time but that's more an issue with people than Haigh hall.
